class="alignleft size-full wp-image-14693" title="" src="http://www.bolesfuneralhome.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Goodwin-R.-Scott-web.jpeg" alt="" width="146" height="150" />Robert Scott Goodwin of Seven Lakes, N.C. lost his long battle with cancer on August 17, 2012, at First Health Hospice in Pinehurst. He was fifty-years old. Scott is survived by his wife of 21-years, Mindy Hasenbein Goodwin, daughter, Briana Goodwin and son, Hunter Goodwin. He is also survived by his father Everett Goodwin of Largo, Florida. Other survivors include his brothers, Everett Goodwin, III of Orlando, FL, and wife Margie and Kent Goodwin of Lake Charles, LA and wife Bonnie. Scott also leaves behind nieces Sydney, Lindsay and Ashly Goodwin.
style="text-align: justify;">Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Effie Goodwin Glynn and brother, Alan Goodwin.
style="text-align: justify;">Scott was employed by Sysco Food Services, where he was deeply admired both personally and professionally. The company brought him to North Carolina, where he and his wife chose Seven Lakes to settle and raise their children. Over the years, Scott and his family developed a loyal network of friends in the community and the broader Pinehurst area who have provided unfailing comfort and support during his extended illness and for which they are sincerely grateful.
