style="text-align: justify;">Marguerite Frances O’Connell, 95, of Southern Pines passed away on August 23, 2012 at St. Joseph of the Pines at Belle Meade.
style="text-align: justify;">She was born on March 1, 1917 in Kansas City, MO. She spent the majority of her life in Stamford, CT before retiring to Sunrise Beach, MO and finally to Belle Meade. She was an avid bridge player. She also enjoyed being at the water and fishing and earlier in life enjoyed tennis playing.
style="text-align: justify;">She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence O’Connell; one son, Michael O’Connell; one daughter, Peggy Louise O’Connell and one grandson Christopher O’Connell.
style="text-align: justify;">She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann King and her husband Jack; two sons, Larry O’Connell and her wife Lourdes, John O’Connell and his wife Diane; Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
