Barbara Ann Atchison, 71, of Pinehurst, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Bundy-Law Funeral Home in Cambridge, Ohio. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Northwood Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Frances and Ronald L. Frakes, Sr. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Richard L. Atchison, in 2008.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Kauffman and her husband, David, of Pinehurst; two stepdaughters, Deb Buttorff, of Tacoma, Wash., and Molly Raymond and her husband, Mike, of Fairfax Station, Va.; one brother, Ronald Frakes Jr. and his wife, Pamela, and their children, Dwayne Frakes and Jennifer Birkhimer, of Coshocton, Ohio; one grandson whom she treasured and adored, Caleb Fitch-Kauffman; and five stepgrandchildren, Christine, Gail and Doug Buttorff, and Lindsay Weston and Ashley Raymond.
