Marvin Thomas Campbell, 72, of Cameron, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. John Brown officiating.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Cox Memorial Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Born May 16, 1940, Mr. Campbell was the son of the late Claude Carson and Dora Williamson Campbell, and the husband of the late Margaret Juanita Campbell. He was a self-employed auto body repairman and was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Campbell is survived by two daughters, Carol Petzoldt and Linda Mofield, both of Whispering Pines; two sisters, Alice Oakley, of Cameron, and Shirley Blackman, of Cameron; two brothers, Howard Campbell, of Cameron, and Ervin Campbell, of Virginia; six grandchildren, Richard Bass, Joshua Bass, Caleb Bass, Chelsy Bass, Holly Mofield and Jordan Mofield; and three great-grandchildren, Keyonna Bass, Hailey Bass and Ricky Bass.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Carson and Dora Williamson Campbell; his wife, Margaret Juanita Campbell; one sister, Lois Ring; and five brothers, Jimmy Campbell, Carl Campbell, Albert Campbell, John Campbell and Paul Campbell.
