George Herbert Fahy, 80, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Manor Care, in Pinehurst.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro.
Mr. Fahy was born July 20, 1932, in Washington, D.C., to Sophie Kathryn Oberndoerfer and Francis Landgraf Fahy. He graduated from George Washington University with a law degree. He also served his country in the Korean War. He and his wife, Mary, retired to Pinehurst from Vienna, Va.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Mary Jeanette Hudson Fahy; and brother Frank Fahy.
