Obituary for Furman Bell

Furman Bell, 63, of Wagram, departed this Earthly life Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, in Laurinburg.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Heritage Funeral Home, Red Springs. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at St. Anna Baptist Church Cemetery, Pembroke, with Kay Campbell and Athena Bledsoe officiating.
He was born Sept. 18, 1949, in Robeson County, to the late Thurman Bell and the late Annie Mae Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Fay McKinney Bell, of the home; three sons, Terry Bell Jr. and Stephen Dale Bell (Renee), all of Carthage, and Anthony Wade Bell (Heather), of Hamlet; four stepsons, Danny Foster and Michael Foster, both of Seagrove, and Lee Butler and William Butler, both of Hoffman; one stepdaughter, Tammy Foster, of Sanford; two brothers, Garland Bell, of West End, and Bobby Bell, of Wagram; one sister, Frances Sue Lyles, of Gastonia; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
