Jacqueline Greta Thomas Marks, 89, of Foxfire Village, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Boles Funeral Home, in Southern Pines.
She was born March 3, 1923, in Gastonia, to the late Albert and Fannie Thomas. Mrs. Marks spent the majority of her life living in Greensboro. She retired after a 30-year career as a seamstress with Jeanette Maternities in High Point. She later became a resident of Foxfire Village.
She is survived by four sons, David Marks, of Aberdeen, Darrell Marks and wife, Susan, of Foxfire Village, Richard Marks and wife, Diane, of Browns Summit, and Jimmy Marks and wife, Ann, of Spring, Texas; two daughters, Patricia Marks Wingler, of South Boston, Va., and Carolyn Johnson and husband, Jake, of Houston; one brother, Larry Thomas of Camden, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
