Sarah Emma Lowder Strother

style="text-align: justify;"> class="alignleft size-full wp-image-14905" title="" src="http://www.bolesfuneralhome.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Sarah-Strother-WEB.jpg" alt="" width="127" height="200" />Mrs. Sarah Emma Lowder Strother of Ashley Heights passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012.  She was born June 8, 1925 to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lowder.

style="text-align: justify;">Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 PM Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Ashley Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Ashley Heights Cemetery.

style="text-align: justify;">Mrs. Strother was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dewey Strother; son James Robert “Bobby” Strother and daughter Sheila Louise Bowling.

style="text-align: justify;">She is survived by son, Garry Strother and his wife, Donna of Whispering Pines; son Carl Strother of Ashley Heights, daughter Linda Maiolini and her husband, John of Cincinnati, OH; and daughter-in-law Norma of Ashley Heights, 12 grandchildren, Robert, Jeffrey, Tyler, Diana, Kristen, William, Matt, Cianna, Beth, Alison, Sheri, Ronald and 10 great grandchildren.

style="text-align: justify;">Ms. Sarah was an avid gardener, enjoyed quilting and crossword puzzles, spending time with dear friends and family and most of all, being a member of Ashley Heights Baptist Church.

style="text-align: justify;">The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines

style="text-align: justify;">In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sarah’s honor to Ashley Heights Baptist Church, 10351 Aberdeen Road, Aberdeen, NC  28315 or to the Pine Hill Fire Dept., P.O. Box 486, Aberdeen, NC 28315.
