style="text-align: justify;">Inurnment will be held by the family at Pinelawn Memorial Park at a future date.
style="text-align: justify;">Born in Chicago, IL to the late Jesse and Elizabeth Fauth Bauer, she graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in Hammond, Ind. She married her husband Robert on January 14, 1967 in Honolulu, HI., and traveled extensively abroad with him during a 28 year military career. A staunch Republican, she held many state level positions in the Hawaii Republican Party.
style="text-align: justify;">She and her husband moved to Pinehurst in December of 1997 from Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Bauer.
style="text-align: justify;">Survived by her husband Lt. Col. Robert H. Desjardins; 2 daughters, Bonnie Desjardins of Pinehurst and June Desjardins; 2 grandchildren, Gabriel Gray, Shelly Woll and 3 great grandchildren Alex Gray, Kayla Gray and Jasmine Brown.
