Lloyd Raymond Mullins, 86, of Robbins, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Manor Care, in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur, with Dr. Neal Jackson and the Rev. Dan Glockle officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Baptist Church, Bennett, with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Loflin Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Terry and Vonda Purvis, 1133 George P Road, Robbins.
Lloyd was a native of McDowell County, W.Va., a retired restaurant owner/operator, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isom and Lola Scruggs Mullins.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Purvis Mullins; stepdaughter, Anna Kardon, of New Orleans; stepsons, Terry Purvis and wife, Vonda, and Gary Purvis, all of Robbins; sisters, Shirley Boggs, Bonnie Spinks, both of Frankford, W.Va., and Penny Boggs, of Boardman, Ohio; brothers, Earl Mullins, of Richmond, Va., Harold Mullins, of Norfolk, Va., Sherman Mullins, of Roanoke, Va., and Donald Mullins, of Frankford, W.Va.; and one step-grandchild, Bryce.
